6th Symposium on Biodegradable Metals in Maratea, Italy
Following the successes of the past five editions, the 6th Symposium on Biodegradable Metals will be held in Hotel Villa del Mare, Aquafredda di Maratea, Italy from 24 to 29 Auguist 2014. Following the well-known tradition, this year again, the symposium will be rather close to an advanced study school than a regular conference, with an openly discursive format, rather than a lecture and question–answer format. The traditional discussions at the end of each session and the unconventional daily open session early in the afternoon will play a pivotal role. Besides the presentations, this symposium will discuss open questions on the session topics, new approaches, background knowledge, and personal views among the participants. Furthermore, discussions at the poster session will be encouraged, in an effort to raise critical questions and help each other advancing the growing field of biodegradable metals.
