Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the Organising and Scientific Committees, we are delighted to announce that the next HIV Drug Therapy Glasgow meeting will take place in Glasgow, UK between 2-6 November 2014.

Our aim is to provide a relevant, meaningful and topical Scientific Programme reflecting recent progress in the research and treatment affecting the management of HIV infection. Despite significant advances in treatment, challenges still remain. This Congress will provide practical advice and guidance to clinicians in the day-to-day treatment of their patients.

The programme is being developed to offer a mix of presentation-types and styles from keynote lectures to practical case-based presentations, within a single-session plenary format. Abstract submission is encouraged and abstracts will be considered for oral presentation in the plenary programme or oral poster discussion sessions, as well as printed posters. Time is set aside within the programme to encourage discussion and audience interaction. Networking during coffee and lunch breaks, and at the opening and poster receptions is actively encouraged.

In support of further networking and progressing research, the Congress will once again offer meeting space to non-governmental and governmental organisations. This allows key trial groups and other planning meetings to conveniently take advantage of the assembled audience and facilities.

Many of you will have attended and taken part in previous Glasgow congresses and we look forward to welcoming you again to Glasgow, along with new clinicians and researchers. With your continued support we very much hope that this Congress will continue to thrive and reflect the real progress being made in the treatment of HIV infection.
